The Alumni Advisory Council is composed of Strayer University graduates who serve as the voices of our alumni. They support initiatives of the Office of Alumni Affairs and deliver feedback from graduates to the Director of Alumni Affairs.

The Advisory Council works through focused committees: Business Alliance, Career Development, Community Outreach, Lifelong Learning, Membership, Discount Services and Special Projects & Leadership. Each committee has a strategic direction and is led by a committee chairperson.

Council officers serve a three-year term, while members are elected to serve two years. Council members are appointed by the Director of Alumni Affairs or are elected by the Advisory Council. Alumni members can nominate themselves or a fellow alumnus to serve on the council.
