Strayer University recognizes graduates who demonstrate exceptional leadership in their professional, public or personal lives and wants to honor them with the prestigious Outstanding Alumni Award. This is the highest award the University bestows on an alumnus.
This year the selection committee will choose award winners based on the following criteria:
* Educational and professional accomplishmentsStrayer University graduates who have earned a bachelor's or master's degree and have registered in the Alumni Directory are eligible to apply for the award. Each year, recipients accept the award during one of the University’s commencement ceremonies.
Former Outstanding Alumni Award winners have been characterized by their integrity, dedication, resilience and generosity. The 2007 recipients who are featured below were honored for their outstanding contributions to the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security and Housing and Urban Development.
