Alumni are invited to attend a Career Power Workshop, hosted by Strayer University and Careerbuilder.com at Strayer’s Tampa Westshore Campus on Saturday, November 7.

Graduates, friends or family members searching for a job are invited to this free, 90-minute seminar that will offer tips from HR and career counseling experts on how to:

• Utilize the Internet and social networking sites
such as LinkedIn and Facebook when job hunting

• Build a contact pool and network

• Create a resume that stands out from the rest

• Handle tricky interview questions

• Break into a new industry


A career services professional will also be available to provide quick resume review.
