"Strayer University wants alumni voices to be heard."

Dr. William Reha (MSBA '98) is a surgeon at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, Va., and runs a full-time urology practice in Eastern Prince William County, Va. He is the director of the Medical Society of Virginia and chairman of the Physician's Health and Wellness Committee at Potomac Hospital, which encourages physicians to attend to their own health in addition to the health of their patients. Dr. Reha is a member of Strayer University's Board of Trustees and Vice Speaker of the Medical Society of Virginia. In his free time, Dr. Reha advocates for uninsured individuals to receive better health care in the state of Virginia.
Clearly, Dr. Reha is active in his profession. In 2007, he completed the inaugural class of the Medical Society of Virginia Claude Moore Physician Leadership Institute, a 12-month program that provides physicians with formal, ongoing leadership training in order to produce a network of physician leaders who work to effectively advance health and health care in Virginia.
After winning the 2005 Outstanding Alumni Award from Strayer University, Dr. Reha was invited to join Strayer University's Alumni Advisory Council, which collaborates to improve services for the University's graduates.
"I really value the fact that Strayer University wants alumni voices to be heard," the surgeon shares. "One of the ongoing benefits of being a Strayer alumnus is the opportunity to meet and network with talented, interesting and personable people."
Recently, he was appointed to Strayer University's Board of Trustees, to which he brings his perspective as a Strayer alumnus, representing all former and current students.
