GENERAL SUMMARY:
To assist in fulfilling the requirements of pre-clinical (laboratory based) research project protocols. The primary responsibilities are to provide technical and clerical support to the research department, and participate in the performance of laboratory experiments under the direction of the principal investigator, or a designated supervisor, with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Conduct laboratory experiments under direction of principal investigator. Communicate effectively with research team and principal investigators, hospital departments and personnel. Review, archive and analyze experimental data, with oversight. Assist with literature reviews and publication preparation. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. Order lab and office supplies. Practice BH hospitality standards. Other duties as assigned.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree or 2 years of undergrad coursework in a science related field required. Bachelor’s degree in a science related field preferred. College laboratory experience required

Basic laboratory experience required. Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
