The Social Media Intern will increase Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc’s social media presence and visibility for the brand and culture across various platforms. The Social Media Intern will participate and contribute to efforts to attract, retain and engage current and future candidates for Weatherproofing Technology. The Social Media Intern will work closely with the Technology Innovation Specialist and the Business Operations groups to develop and distribute meaningful content. This position will also work to build content-specific recruiting efforts in the roofing industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure social media platforms maintain, follow, and reinforce the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Coordinate scheduling of Posts/Tweets across all social media channels partnering with the WTI Leadership team
Proactively introduce new ideas for initiatives and new platforms driven by the company’s dedication to innovation
Assist with the development of social media strategy to engage potential candidates for open positions
Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites
Contribute to the creation of editorial calendars focused on scheduled content and messaging to promote projects, people, and new initiatives
Assist with the development of key metrics and reporting for social media analytics

Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and key social media tools
